Baby Blue Partscaster with B Bender
A lightweight (5.5 lbs) baby blue Flutney Partscaster. Body and neck have seen their fair share of wear but cosmetics aside, both are in excellent playable condition. The guitar is a simple classic Tele setup (though with the switch plate reversed for “little finger volume control”). It has a classic string-wound and waxed single coil bridge pickup, matched with an Alnico 3 neck pickup. Classic Tele tone and playability.
This is a 2nd generation Flutney style cam-operated B Bender. It works smoothly, silently, and reliably. The ashtray type bridge include compensated brass saddle. Tuners (new) are vintage Kluson types, made by Wilkinson.
Neck is a “soft V” style, with a fairly flat fretboard. If you’re looking for the very old “C” type neck with a 7.25″ radius, this isn’t it. However, the V neck feels great and is easy to play.
The cam-operated string puller requires minimal routing in the back of the guitar, with only a small cavity for the strap lever.
