Mahogany Partscaster with B Bender
A very clean and straighforward guitar. Natural mahogany with the classic black pickguard combination. Standard Tele style pickup arrangement with a single coil classic Oripure bridge pickup and a very hot Alnico 3 neck pickup. You’ll notice that the switch plate has been reversed, in the style of Bill Kirchen. The volume knob is up front, so that you can use your little finger for volume swells for those pedal steel licks.
The neck is maple with a rosewood fingerboard. It has a vintage “C” profile and a fairly flat, fast fretboard. Sealed Fender type tuners.
The guitar is slightly heavier than some, but at 7.6 lbs (3.4 kg) it is well under what a Les Paul weighs. This is an absolutely clean guitar, one that will turn a lot of heads. Don’t let its conservative appearance fool you. This thing has a lot of firepower.
