230013 – Black Partscaster with B Bender

Here’s another Flutney Partscaster with B Bender installed. Black body with tortoise pickguard. This guitar features a Nashville Tele style setup with single coil pickups and a 5-position switch. It has a phase switch for the middle pickup, when combining either of the other two pickups with the middle one.

Maple neck and fingerboard, vintage style tuners (new). Slight wear and tear from use, but in good condition. A great workhorse guitar for the stage and the recording studio.

The B-Bender mechanism is smooth and easy to tune. The fretboard is the common one you find on most modern Tele style guitars these days, with about a 9.5 inch radius. The neck is slightly thicker than most modern necks, and feels a bit more like a vintage Tele. Vintage style tuners (new) work well. It’s a solid guitar and plays like you’d expect.

Guitar is medium weight, approx 6.5 lbs (3 kg). Again, no hard-sell here… you’ll either like this or you won’t. If you know about B-benders, you already know how cool this is. If you don’t know about B-benders, check ’em out. I don’t make very many of these, so you won’t see many of them around.

B Benders aren’t for everyone, but if you’re a guitar player who wants to head away from the crowd, you might want to check them out.
