$625.00 NZD SOLD
Flutney Partscaster with B Bender installed. A “TV” off-white guitar with a big blue racing stripe painted across the body. Looks like a high school kid got busy in his garage one day. I was going to repaint it, but then it started to grow on me so I’ve left it as is, warts and all. And I’ve thrown in the racing stripe FOR FREE!!
This is a lightweight guitar, less than 3 kg (6 lbs). It is set up as a “Nashville” Partscaster, with 3 pickups and a 5 position switch, which makes it a very versatile guitar.
Features include:
— hot Tele Rail humbucker neck pickup
— Wilkinson Strat style centre pickup
— Alnico 3 bridge pickup
— 5-position switch and control plate
— maple neck with maple fretboard
— vintage “Kluson Deluxe” style tuners (new)
— cool racing stripe (no extra charge for this!! )
The B-Bender mechanism is smooth and easy to tune when restringing. This is a clean little guitar with minor flaws and checks in the finish. The maple neck has a fairly flat radius, though not super flat like rock guitars. Feels very much like a modern Tele type neck and plays well.
Guitar is lighter than most of my others (approx 6 lbs — 2.5 – 3 kg).. You can play this one all night without trashing your neck and shoulders. No hard-sell… you either like it or you don’t. If you know about B-benders, you already know how cool this guitar is. If you don’t know about B-benders, check ’em out.
B Benders are not for everyone, but if you’re a guitar picker who wants to step away from the crowd, they’re worth checking out.
