Butterscotch with B Bender
About this guitar:
A very clean Flutney Partscaster guitar, butterscotch with black pickguard. Flutney B Bender installed.
This is a standard Tele type setup, with bridge and neck pickups and 3-way switch:
1- Tele style neck pickup, single coil
2- Tele style single coil bridge pickup
The pickups are strong output and are wired with a standard 3 position switch in the normal setup.
The 3-way switch works as it would on a normal Tele:
1st (back) position……….Bridge pickup
2nd (middle) position…..Both pickups
3rd (front) position………Neck pickup
Normal Tele style single volume and tone control everything. It’s easy to figure out and use.
The body is butterscotch colour, with faint wood grain showing through, and is in excellent shape. There are some odd colorings that look like painting problems, but I think they’re part of the wood grain. The body is in very good shape, but it may have been a factory second because of these blems (see photos).
This is another Flutney prototype guitar. Maple neck, reasonably lightweight. Tuners are new vintage Fender type. Bridge is standard ashtray with steel barrels.
The Flutney B Bender works well and is easy to tune. This is another guitar that can cover a lot of ground.
