$625.00 NZD SOLD
Flutney Partscaster with B Bender installed. This grey guitar has the famous “Flutney” named cargo-stamped onto the front. It has a Nashville setup with 3 pickups and a 5-position switch. Features include maple neck and fingerboard, tortoise pickguard. Built from parts, both old and new, and put together to create a very good workhorse guitar, for both live performance and the recording studio.
Features:
— hot Williamson M-Series bridge pickup
— Strat style middle pickup
— Strat neck pickup
— 5-position switch allows various pickup combinations and a wide range of tone
The B-Bender mechanism works very smoothly and is easy to tune when restringing. A clean guitar, but certainly not showroom perfect. The grey body is from an older guitar, has been tagged with the Flutney name. The finish has a few minor flaws here and there. Nice maple neck has the “C-neck” feel of the vintage guitars, though the fretboard is a bit flatter than the older Teles. It’s a good looking, solid guitar and plays great.
Guitar is light weight, approx 6 lbs (3 kg), but still has big, fat tone. You can play it all night without destroying your neck and shoulders. No hard-sell hereā¦ you’ll either like this or you won’t. If you know about B-benders, you already know how cool this is. If you don’t know about B-benders, check ’em out. I’m selling these prototypes in NZ only. I don’t make very many, so you won’t see many of them around.
B Benders aren’t for everyone, but if you’re a guitar player who wants to head away from the crowd, you might want to check them out.
Item sold as is. No Reserve, so first bid could take it home. Shipping is from Dunedin. Good luck. Happy to answer any questions, and thanks for looking.
