We find old guitars and other instruments. We collect old wood and hardware and scrounge through the landfill for odds and ends. We create electric and acoustic B Bender guitars using high tech and low tech. Our tools include hand saws and 3D printers, chisels and CNC machines, and we use them to put together solid, playable guitars that resonate with players all over New Zealand.

We don’t let a few dings and scratches get in the way of a good guitar. Some are flawless, glistening collectors’ pieces that you’ll want to keep locked up in a cabinet somewhere. Some are road worn, and they look like they’ve been rode hard and put away wet. Either way, they play good and they sound good.

Flutney: it rhymes with Chutney. It’s all in the name.
